Hello i recently bought a psp pandora battery and memory card for my son and theses people keep saying that they will ship withing 3 business days. Now another guy emails me and says that it will actually arrive on the 27. Im like what the hell, so now i thought about filing a law suit or a refund or fraud so i can get my money back. What should i do?

As my colleague mentioned your order is scheduled for dispatch by 13th February. Please note that orders are sent from England in the UK. Orders sent to North America should normally arrive in your country within 5-7 working days and will pass through your local customs inspection department. They will then be delivered by your local postal service within their standard delivery time.

I would expect the order to reach you by 27th February.

If it ships from the UK, his estimation is probably right. The extra time is the time the goods may remain in customs and the time it may take for USPS to get it to you.

Notice that he says ‘arrive in your country’ not arrive with you. Shipping within 3 business days means that the orders take 3 days to process (or they only run to the post office twice a week). If they are actually using a drop-shipper, then that could also account for a delay in shipping.

I don’t see anything fishy about it. At least you got an explanatory email. That’s a big plus in my book!

Question by Sean D: Question about mailing a letter to Vancouver Canada from New York?
I mailed a Birthday Card to my Brother in Vancouver Canada from New York. The Post Office in NY instructed me to fill out a Customs Form, because there was a DVD inside (which is a video clip of me and my Family wishing my Brother a Happy Birthday) I had to declare it as a Gift and I had to write on the outside label what it was. In which I wrote DVD Home Movie. It has been four weeks now and according to the NY Post Office it will get there within 7-10 Business days. I just feel up to this point that it is either lost or stolen, so I mailed my Brother the same exact follow up gift now it has been three weeks. I am not familiar with the Canadian Post Office, why isn’t my mail getting thru? Is it because of the DVD being declared? Is it that suspicious? If I mailed my Brother a regular Package instead of a regular Birthday Card would that make a difference? I know Certified Mail costs more, I thought using regular mail would just get there one way or another. Answers anyone?

The Canadian Postal service is pretty good
Ask them to put a trace on it or check to make sure you have the right address.
I have never had a problem and i do cross border mail all the time

The Castorena Leija-Sanchez crime organization is the major supplier of counterfeit documents/paper weapons in the United States. They are based in Mexico and have been operating in the United States for 17 years. They are in every major US city and earn approx.300 million dollars per year. Well im from Canada, and this comes as a surprise to me. I have never had any problems in Canada Post, or sending stuff to USA. Ask the post office your sending it from, Im sure they could figure out whats wrong.
